Featuring lakeside "glamping", a sand beach and 20.5 miles of trails, this park is a paradise for fishermen, hikers and mountain bikers.

Fort Yargo State Park is a 1,816-acre state park and natural refuge in Winder, Georgia, 12 miles South of Braselton. There is a 260-acre lake with a public beach* and 20.5 miles of multi-use recreational trails. Tour a 1792 log fort built by settlers for protection against Creek and Cherokee Indians.


Camping

The park offers tent, trailer, and RV campsites, recently renovated cottages and even “glamping” yurt reservations.

Swimming, fishing, hiking and mountain biking trails, disc golf, miniature golf, geocaching
